I’ve struggled to stick with one career, one expertise because I am curious. I want to understand many things and that I see the connection in so much. I see how one thing can benefit something that seems completely unrelated. This talk is relatable to me.

I get frustrated when there is a sweeping push, a blanket approach to things. I agree that we need to reduce single plastics but I also am aware that there are some industries that we just can’t. The solution is not to give up but look at what else can be done to…

What does climate change actually mean? The communication about what is happening to our climate has been lost in translation. I always wonder who are these people talking to, because it certainly isn’t the average person (my article about accessibility and words addresses this). This video is brilliant not only by breaking down the understanding of what is going on but it’s so funny.

Have you ever thought about accessibility? I do, all the time. I’m acutely aware that many people don’t have the same access that I have, not only regarding physical but also mental, financial and so on. I can see websites (yes that is right, have you ever thought…

First draft.

These past days I have experienced the negative side of social media. I often do not write on other profile posts but for some reason I did for a music band that I like. Their picture was one of them wearing disposable masks at a venue. In line with what I believe as a small detailed gesture wrote that it would be good to see them wearing reusable masks. I instantly received a reply from one of the band members explaining that the venue required them to wear the disposable ones but that they all have reusable ones…

Decisions — I have such difficulty making decisions. Maybe it is a commitment thing but I also believe it is because we have too many choices. I sometimes get into a debate with people who believe having a lot of choices is positive. I don’t agree. Looking at how I react when I have too many choices is a sign that…

Although Elon Musk has some issues, he has understood what asset is. I also wrote a piece to give some examples of how all businesses can be environmental. On a personal level, I wrote a piece querying why do we have seven-day weeks and the struggle with a constant hypocrisy I experience in our lives.

First published here.

You may have heard the saying that as soon as a car leaves the showroom, it has dropped in value. And although many ‘get it’ there still remains a misunderstanding of what an asset really is and thus a misplacement of value.

The dictionary definition of an asset is a useful or valuable thing. So in that case the car is useful, whether it is valuable is entirely subjective. Asset is also an item or property owned that is regarded as having value and can be used to meet debts and commitments. This means that it is…

I wrote another piece about the environment here. I’ve also started to talk about accessibility because I see this as one of the root issues to many things, environmental action included. On a personal level, I wrote a piece about missing touch, how I feel exhausted because of the internet and the issue about perfection.

As I spend more time openly communicating what I think about and how I see and understanding things, I find myself often referring to my professional and personal experiences.

Like I had written in another post, I have done things upside down. Instead of sticking on a linear path, I experimented. It seemed the most logical thing to do.

Did you actually know, really know, what you wanted to be doing for your career, how you wanted to be spending your life working? Do we actually know what being an executive associate means? Or a doctor, or an account manager…
